Job Description

Our client, a well-established global automotive components manufacturer specializing in plastic injection molding, and complex assemblies is seeking a Logistics Specialist to support the launch and growth of a new U.S. subsidiary operation. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who thrives in a startup-style environment and enjoys building logistics processes, systems, and teams from the ground up while partnering with a well-established global organization.

Responsibilities
  • Oversee daily logistics, shipping, receiving, warehousing, and inventory operations 
  • Develop and implement logistics processes, procedures, and KPIs for a growing operation 
  • Coordinate domestic and international shipments while ensuring on-time delivery and navigating any export procedures. 
  • Manage relationships with customers, carriers, freight providers, and third-party logistics partners 
  • Monitor inventory accuracy and support production and customer delivery requirements 
  • Collaborate with purchasing, production, and customer service teams to improve supply chain efficiency 
  • Identify cost-saving opportunities and drive continuous improvement initiatives 
  • Ensure compliance with shipping, safety, and regulatory requirements 
  • Assist with ERP/system (SAP) implementation and logistics reporting as the operation grows 
Qualifications
  • 5+ years of logistics, supply chain, or warehouse management experience 
  • Experience working in a startup, new facility launches, or growing subsidiary environment strongly preferred 
  • Experience in manufacturing, automotive, or injection molding is required.
  • Strong understanding of domestic and international shipping processes 
  • Experience with SAP systems and inventory management 
  • Leadership skills, organizational, and problem-solving skills 
  • Ability to work independently in a fast-paced, evolving environment
