Position Summary
The Quality Supervisor reports directly to the Quality Manager and Operations Manager,
This position is responsible for overseeing Quality Control and Quality Assurance functions while ensuring compliance with manufacturing processes and Business and Quality Management System (QBMS) requirements.

The Quality Supervisor plays a key role in maintaining and improving quality standards throughout the organization by supporting receiving inspection, in-process inspection, final inspection, first article inspections (FAI), internal audits, CAPA activities, and management feedback initiatives. This role is senior to the Quality Lead position and focuses heavily on process improvement, data analysis, and continuous improvement initiatives, with less emphasis on hands-on product inspection.

The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, dependable, analytical, and thrives in a fast-paced manufacturing environment while promoting teamwork and operational excellence.

Essential Functions Continuous Improvement
  • Review customer specifications, standards, and test plans and provide feedback to management regarding compliance and improvement opportunities.
  • Investigate, implement, and follow up on corrective action requests related to customer complaints, returns, and assigned quality initiatives.
  • Develop, maintain, and implement written procedures, work instructions, checklists, and other controlled quality documents.
  • Participate in internal and external audits to ensure compliance with customer, company, and regulatory standards.
Team Leadership & Communication
  • Lead and support the Quality Control team in daily activities, ensuring completion of inspections, records, testing, and monitoring requirements.
  • Communicate quality risks, non-conformances, and continuous improvement opportunities to management, engineering, and production teams.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally to support workforce development, training initiatives, and quality improvement efforts based on data analysis and customer feedback.
Analysis & Quality Review
  • Review customer deliverables for completeness and accuracy, including FAIRs, CARs, and related documentation.
  • Perform product and process inspections using specialized measuring tools and equipment.
  • Verify product quality through measurements, visual inspections, moisture testing, workmanship evaluations, and reliability assessments as required.
  • Utilize software and Microsoft Office tools to collect, analyze, and report quality metrics and performance data.
  • Monitor and maintain the ongoing effectiveness and sustainability of the Quality Business Management System (QBMS).
  • Perform additional duties and special projects as assigned by management.

Experience & Skills
  • Minimum of 3 years of quality assurance, quality control, or process control experience in a manufacturing environment.
  • Strong experience with 8D problem solving and Root Cause Analysis methodologies.
  • Proven ability to lead, train, supervise, and evaluate small teams.
  • Understanding of manufacturing processes and quality systems.
  • Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and technical documentation.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, including Word and Excel, with the ability to learn proprietary software systems.
  • Ability to accurately convert decimals to fractions, fractions to decimals, and metric to imperial measurements.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills in English; bilingual Spanish is a plus.
  • Ability to work effectively in cross-functional teams including engineering, production, customer service, and sales.
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced, high-volume manufacturing environment.
Desired Education,
  • Associate degree in Engineering, Business, or related field preferred.
    • Equivalent combination of education and 3–5 years of quality experience may be considered.
