We’re looking for a hands-on Production Supervisor to lead day-to-day operations for a metal manufacturing plant. In this role, you’ll oversee a team of machine operators, grinders, and technicians to ensure production runs smoothly, safely, and efficiently. This position is ideal for someone with strong leadership skills, a solid manufacturing background, and the ability to keep things moving in a fast-paced environment.Shift: Day Shift and Night Shift are both availableResponsibilities:
Lead, train, and support team members across multiple production areas
Monitor daily production to meet quality, safety, and delivery goals
Coordinate work assignments and adjust schedules as needed to stay on track
Communicate clearly with other departments, including maintenance and quality
Ensure team members are following safety procedures and using proper PPE
Identify and troubleshoot production or equipment issues quickly
Help implement process improvements and support continuous training
Track and report on shift performance, attendance, and productivity
Experience:
Previous experience in manufacturing leadership role
Previous experience in Lathe Machining and CNC Programming is strongly preferred
Working knowledge of grinding, cutting, and machine operations is a plus
Strong communication and problem-solving skills
Comfortable enforcing safety rules and holding team members accountable
Able to read production schedules, blueprints, or work instructions
Basic computer skills (Microsoft Office, production tracking systems)
