Lingo Staffing, Inc. is IMMEDIATELY hiring Laser Assembly in the automotive manufacturing industry. Laser assembly uses lasers for a variety of purposes in the production of cars and other vehicles. Pay Rate; $17/hr Shift: 1st What you’ll do:WeldingA high-energy laser beam fuses two metals together to create a joint. Laser welding is fast, precise, and can increase the strength of a vehicle by over 30%. It can also be integrated with robotics for fully automated production lines.PositioningLaser projectors can display the target positions of components on the vehicle frame or floor. This helps assembly workers place components more quickly and eliminates the need for templates.BrazingA laser beam melts brazing solder to join components together. Laser brazing is often used to join galvanized steel sheets or aluminum components. The resulting joints are smooth, sealed, and clean, and can be lacquered immediately after cleaning.CleaningAutomated laser cleaning systems can clean components at various stages of manufacturing. These systems are often combined with robotic arms for precise cleaning.MarkingLasers can be used to mark components of the engine to ensure traceability.Projecting outlinesLaser projectors can display the outlines of sound absorption mats to help position them in the vehicle.Education/Background/Experience:
High School diploma or GED Required
Manufacturing experience
Will work in metric numbers and be able to interpret basic production data to decide on production and quality issues
