Quality Inspector / Quality ControlHours: Monday through Thursday from 9:30AM – 7:00PM, Fridays 9:30AM - 2:00PM + Overtime as needed on the weekend Job Summary
Support critical success factors and continuous improvement efforts.
Provide urgent support to production and effectively elevates issues when needed.
Performs required Quality measurements, inspections, and audits.
Leads in the documentation of Non-Conformances and ensures containment of product.
Supports Quality investigations.
Provides accurate and timely data collection.
Proficiency in interpreting quality control drawings and/or quality specifications.
Assists the Quality Team with investigations and data collection.
Elevates QC drawing/matrix errors and omissions for investigation.
Requirements:
High school diploma or equivalent.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Ability to work in a self-managed team environment.
Strong attention to detail.
Working knowledge of MS Office, including Outlook, Word, and Excel.
Work overtime as required, including weekends. Adhere to attendance policy.
Desired Qualifications:
Good visual acuity.
Quality Inspection in plastics a plus
Basic understanding of the following:
Quality concepts,
Quality tools,
Probability,
Statistics,
Calibrations,
Metrology.
Passion for learning and growth with ability to manage own tasks and meet goals and objectives with little supervision.
Strong analytical and critical problem-solving skills.
ASQ certifications a plus. (American Society for Quality)
