Maintenance Technician Location: Roanoke, VA Schedule: Day shift, Monday through Friday with occasional Saturday overtime Employment Type: Full-Time, Direct Hire Industry: Manufacturing Pay Range: $24-$30/hr based on experience Summary: Lingo Staffing is seeking a skilled and dependable Maintenance Technician on behalf of our client in the manufacturing industry. The ideal candidate will be a “jack of all trades” with hands-on experience in repairing and maintaining various types of machinery and equipment, as well as general building and grounds upkeep. Key Responsibilities:Machinery and Equipment Maintenance
Perform timely repairs and preventative maintenance on CNC cutting and milling machines, vertical carousel storage/retrieval systems, 6-axis robotics, conveyor systems, air compressors, and dust collection systems.
Execute preventative maintenance tasks in alignment with established schedules.
Maintain accurate preventative maintenance logs to comply with OSHA standards.
Building and Grounds Maintenance
Relocate production and office equipment/furniture as needed.
Conduct maintenance and repairs on plumbing, electrical, and HVAC systems.
Report shortages of materials and supplies required by the maintenance team.
Open and secure the facility at the start of each workday.
Perform other related duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
Minimum 5 years of hands-on maintenance experience.
Proficiency in troubleshooting electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic control systems.
Skills in light construction, carpentry, and machining (e.g., drill press, saw, milling machine).
Familiarity with preventative maintenance protocols and documentation.
PLC troubleshooting/programming skills are a plus.
