The Industrial Maintenance Technician will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of machinery and mechanical equipment. This role includes installing new equipment, performing regular service and maintenance procedures, conducting preventative maintenance, and troubleshooting equipment. The ideal candidate should have advanced knowledge of industrial machinery and equipment, excellent troubleshooting skills, and strong time-management abilities. Responsibilities:
Perform repairs, maintenance, preventative maintenance, new installs, upgrades, and changes to industrial production equipment and the facility while maintaining detailed records of work performed and parts used for inventory purposes.
Read and interpret engineering blueprints and drawings.
Service and maintain equipment including motors, gearboxes, conveyor systems, hydraulics, pneumatics, transmission systems, extrusion, conversion, winders, rewinders, overhead cranes, presses, and other production-related equipment.
Troubleshoot mechanical breakdowns and adjust mechanical parts and equipment using hand and machine tools.
Fabricate parts for repairs and machine upgrades.
Perform welding, cutting, and machining as needed.
