Hydro Associate – Tier 1
Location: Oklahoma City, OK
Schedule: Full-Time | Day Shift
Pay Rate: $18.00 per hour

Overview:
Lingo Staffing is now hiring for an Entry-Level Hydro Associate – Tier 1 position on behalf of a client in Oklahoma City, OK. This role is critical in helping ensure product quality by using hydrostatic testing methods to inspect 1" and 2" valve bodies for leaks. This is an excellent opportunity to begin a career in manufacturing and quality assurance.Key Responsibilities:
  • Review work orders and verify all required information prior to testing.
  • Visually inspect valve bodies, tools, and machinery for any defects or quality issues.
  • Perform hydrostatic leak testing using Barbee machines on 1" and 2" valve bodies.
  • Closely observe testing process to identify leaks, irregularities, or safety concerns.
  • Use metal stamps to mark valve bodies per engineering specifications.
  • Maintain proper documentation such as logs, forms, and test records.
  • Ensure a clean and organized work area.
  • Adhere to all safety protocols specific to hydrostatic testing operations.
  • Operate a sandblaster when assisting the Welding Department.
  • Cross-train and support other departments as needed.
  • Complete other tasks as assigned by leadership.
Qualifications & Skills:
  • Punctual and reliable attendance is required.
  • Effective communication skills for working with team members.
  • Ability to visually verify the accuracy of components using reference materials.
  • Capable of reading and interpreting engineering prints to determine test parameters.
  • High attention to detail with a focus on identifying product defects.
  • Mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong prioritization and multitasking abilities.
  • Ability to follow both written and verbal instructions accurately.
  • Experience operating a sandblaster is preferred.
  • Willingness and ability to cross-train in different departments.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team setting.
  • Must be able to occasionally lift 51 lbs or more with a lifting partner.
Additional Information:
  • Flexibility to work more or fewer than 40 hours per week based on production needs.
  • Safety training is mandatory and adherence to all safety protocols is required.
