ULD Technician (HVAC) & Investigation
Location: Forest Park, GA
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM
Pay: Starting at $19.50 per hour, depending on experience
Position Summary
The ULD (Unit Load Device) Technician (HVAC) & Investigation is responsible for the inspection, repair, maintenance, and troubleshooting of Envirotainer's temperature-controlled Unit Load Devices (ULDs). As part of the Global Service Network, you will ensure containers are serviced safely, efficiently, and in compliance with company standards and aviation regulations. This role also supports investigations by troubleshooting equipment using operational data provided by Envirotainer.
Key Responsibilities
  • Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on temperature-controlled ULDs.
  • Remove and install refrigeration units, battery systems, and other ULD components.
  • Diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, electronic, and HVAC-related systems using approved manuals and procedures.
  • Read and interpret Component Maintenance Manuals (CMM), Service Bulletins (SB), Technical Bulletins (TB), and Airworthiness Directives (AD).
  • Accurately document all maintenance, repairs, inspections, and service records.
  • Assist with equipment investigations and troubleshooting based on operational data.
  • Maintain compliance with all company, safety, and regulatory requirements.
  • Deliver high-quality workmanship and exceptional customer service.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.

Qualifications
  • HVAC Universal Certification (EPA Universal Certification preferred).
  • HVAC certificate, license, or degree.
  • Mechanical, HVAC, industrial maintenance, or aviation maintenance experience preferred.
  • Ability to troubleshoot electrical, mechanical, and refrigeration systems.
  • Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and wiring diagrams.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office and internet-based applications.
  • Strong written and verbal English communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with a team.
  • No government or industry compliance violations.
