Job Description

Position: Grocery Warehouse Manager

Shift: 1st shift (occasional 3rd shift to address issues)
Type: Direct Hire
Salary Range: $70k-$100k

Qualifications:Must have previous experience supervising a minimum of 100 or more associatesSummary:

Manage receiving, slotting, loading, rotation, and replenishment of warehouse products.
Oversee sanitation, inventory control, and product selection accuracy.

Duties:

Ensure accurate and timely receiving of products.
Monitor product rotation, replenishment, and notify receiving supervisors of any concerns.
Send all receiving paperwork to inventory control supervisor.
Maintain correct inventory consistency and sanitation operations.
Address store concerns regarding load conditions and mis-shipped products.
Communicate problems, progress, and concerns to the Operations Manager.
Follow through on Operations Manager's recommendations.
Keep accurate records for planning and analysis.
Communicate with transportation on shipping errors, backhaul schedules, and changes.
Assess warehouse supply needs and ensure timely purchases.
Collaborate with buyers for product procurement.
Verify store ordering schedule changes and late data orders with data processing.
Ensure proper cycle counting is conducted.
Participate in the warehouse budgeting process.
Recognize, counsel, and document employee performance.
Notify Maintenance Manager of facility maintenance needs.
Understand and implement company policies and procedures.
Work with HR Manager to assess and fill manpower needs.
Maintain effective employee relations, fostering trust and integrity.
Know and follow the Process of Safety Management Program.
