 Position Type: Full-Time 40 hours a week must have a flexible schedule to see hotel needs are met. 3 days a week 8am- 5pm2 days a week 3pm -11pmWeekend work as needed About Us:

Job Overview:
 The Assistant General Manager will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of hotel operations, ensuring a seamless and luxurious experience for guests. This includes managing all departments, from front desk and housekeeping to purchasing and food service, while maintaining the highest standards of hospitality. The ideal candidate will have strong leadership skills, excellent communication, and hands-on experience in hotel management.Key Responsibilities:
  • Oversee daily hotel operations, ensuring exceptional guest service and operational efficiency.
  • Lead and support all departments, including front desk, housekeeping, maintenance, food service (breakfast), and purchasing.
  • Step in as needed at the front desk or in other areas to maintain smooth operations.
  • Implement and maintain hotel policies and procedures to ensure high standards of service.
  • Manage budgets, financial performance, and cost controls while optimizing revenue.
  • Foster a positive work environment by mentoring and motivating staff.
  • Ensure compliance with health, safety, and hospitality regulations.
  • Handle guest inquiries, concerns, and special requests with professionalism and efficiency.
  • Maintain strong relationships with vendors and oversee purchasing to ensure quality and cost-effectiveness.
  • Ensure all staff are trained to deliver a first-class guest experience.
  • IHG training and experience is a plus-understanding of brand standards, reporting, and operational procedures.
Qualifications:
  • Proven experience as a General Manager or in a senior leadership role in a high-end hotel.
  • IHG (InterContinental Hotels Group) training/experience preferred.
  • Strong leadership, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to interact with guests, staff, and vendors.
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays, as needed.
  • Experience in financial management, budgeting, and revenue optimization.
  • Knowledge of hospitality software and hotel management systems.
