Lingo Staffing is now hiring Machine Operators in Rocky Mount, VA. Hours: 7:00 PM-7:00 AM rotating 2-2-3 work schedule Pay: $18/ hour The machine operator will be responsible for setting up machines to convert rolls of film into individual bags or controlling and monitoring the machines that create the plastic film used to make bags. You will also be responsible for taking measurements and doing the paperwork needed for this department. Requirements:
Basic math skills
Must be comfortable running multiple machines at one time.
Must be comfortable doing the admin side of things so doing paperwork and taking measurements
Willing to work OT
Must be able to read a ruler
Some departments involve performing duties at a height. Are you afraid of heights?
Must be able to work in a HOT environment.
Production - fast-paced
Heavy lifting - 50 lbs repetitively during the entire shift
Basic computer skills
Must be able to climb, walk, and stand the entire shift
Good vision - close, distance, peripheral, and depth perception
Safety shoes required
We are seeking candidates who have held the job titles of: Machine Operator, Warehouse, Labor, Extrusion, Conversion
