Job Description
Lingo Staffing is seeking an experienced Electronics Debug & Rework Technician to join our team! If you’re highly skilled in troubleshooting, diagnosing, and repairing complex electronic circuits.
Pay rate: $25-$30 DOE
Hours: M-F 7:00a-4:30p
Key Responsibilities:
Troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair electronic circuits at both component and system level (motherboards, power supplies, peripherals).
Use test equipment (oscilloscopes, multimeters, logic analyzers, power supplies) to isolate and verify faults.
Perform precision soldering, desoldering, and rework on SMT and through-hole components (including fine-pitch and BGA).
Follow engineering change orders (ECOs) and rework instructions with accuracy.
Support failure analysis by identifying root causes and documenting results.
Collaborate with engineers, quality, and production teams to improve processes.
Maintain compliance with ESD and IPC standards.
Keep accurate repair logs and test reports.
Qualifications:
Hands-on experience debugging and repairing electronic circuits.
Strong soldering and rework skills (SMT & through-hole).
Ability to read and interpret schematics, board layouts, and drawings.
Proficiency with test equipment (oscilloscopes, multimeters, logic analyzers).
Knowledge of ESD handling and IPC standards.
IPC-7711/7721 certification.
Experience with BGA rework/reballing and X-ray inspection.
Previous work in electronics manufacturing or repair.
Basic knowledge of computer hardware/firmware integration.
