Lingo Staffing is looking to hire a Project Manager with Estimator experience for a reputable construction company located in New Haven, CT!***Only candidates who have relevant experience will be considered*** The Project Manager will be responsible for overseeing engineering, scheduling, budgeting, and quality control on assigned projects, while also playing a key role in preconstruction estimating and bid preparation. This dual role requires strong technical construction knowledge, financial acumen, and the ability to drive projects from inception through completion. Hours: 1st shift (hours vary by project)Pay: Based on Experience Key Responsibilities and Requirements of the Project Manager:
3+ years of experience as a Project Manager
Bachelor's in construction management - Preferred
Professional certifications - Preferred
Strong knowledge of building codes, OSHA safety regulations and industry standards.
Support project execution through planning, budgeting, scheduling, quality control, and coordination with the Project Manager.
Lead preconstruction efforts including take-offs, quantity surveys, and detailed cost estimating.
Analyze plans and specs, identify value engineering opportunities, and coordinate subcontractor bid scopes.
Manage project documentation, including RFIs, submittals, change orders, and contract administration.
Ensure compliance with safety regulations, building codes, and industry standards.
Collaborate with stakeholders to resolve technical issues and proactively manage risks.
