Lingo Staffing is looking to hire an experienced Foreman to oversee construction jobs for a company located in Buffalo, NY! We are seeking an experienced Construction Foreman to oversee and coordinate construction projects from start to finish. The ideal candidate will have strong leadership skills, hands-on construction experience, and the ability to manage crews, subcontractors, schedules, and safety compliance. The Construction Foreman plays a key role in ensuring projects are completed on time, within budget, and in accordance with quality and safety standards. Hours: 1st shift, hours vary by projectPay: $35-40/hr depending on experienceResponsibilities/Qualifications of the Foreman are:
Perform rough and finish carpentry work, including framing, installing doors, windows, cabinets, moldings, and flooring.
Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and technical specifications.
Measure, cut, assemble, and install wood, metal, and other materials according to project requirements.
Operate and maintain hand tools, power tools, and woodworking machinery safely and effectively.
Inspect completed work to ensure it meets quality standards and project specifications.
Collaborate with project managers, contractors, and other trades to meet deadlines and ensure smooth project execution.
Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area in compliance with company and OSHA safety guidelines.
OSHA Certified - MUST
Repair and replace damaged structures or fixtures as needed.
Minimum 5 years of professional carpentry experience in residential and/or commercial construction.
Bilingual Spanish - Ability to read and write both English & Spanish - MUST
Proficient in using woodworking tools, machinery, and materials.
Strong knowledge of carpentry techniques, building codes, and safety regulations.
Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings.
Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Ability to lift and carry heavy materials (up to 50 lbs) and work in various environmental conditions.
Reliable transportation and valid driver’s license - MUST
