Lingo Staffing is now hiring CNC Machinist in the Orlando, FL area to start ASAP! CNC Machinist – Responsible for setting up, operating, and maintain CNC (Computer Numerical Control) machines to produce high-quality precision parts. The ideal candidate will have experience reading blueprints, programming CNC machines, and ensuring all products meet exact specifications.
Pay rate: $30.00 - $40.00 an hour (Based on experience)
Scheduled:
1st shift: Monday – Friday: 6:00AM - 4:00PM
Must be able to work overtime and weekends as needed.
Job description & Duties:
Set up and operate CNC machines such as mills, lathes, and grinders.
5 years of relevant work experience as a CNC Machinist.
5 years of experience with 3 Axis and/or 5 Axis machines
Utilize FUSION 360 CAM Post Processor for generating tool paths.
Read and interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and schematics.
Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and blueprints
Knowledge of machining processes, including tool selection and material properties
Proficiency in CAD/CAM software for creating CNC programs
Understanding of geometric dimensioning and tolerancing (GD&T)
Familiarity with various measuring tools (calipers, micrometers)
Adjust machine settings and tooling to maintain high-quality standards.
Perform routine maintenance and troubleshooting of CNC equipment.
Conduct quality checks using calipers, micrometers, and other measuring tools.
Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean and organized workspace.
Collaborate with engineers and production teams to optimize machining processes.
Proficiency in G-code programming and CNC machine operations.
Ability to read blueprints and use precision measurement tools.
Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills.
Attention to detail and commitment to quality control.
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods.
Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing principles.
Previous experience in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
