Schedule: Monday–Thursday, 6:30 AM – 4:30 PM A leading distributor of specialty building materials is seeking a reliable and safety-conscious CDL B Delivery Driver for their Newtown, CT location. This is a hands-on role delivering materials to job sites using a 24’ flatbed with a Moffett, as well as other vehicles such as box trucks and pickups, depending on daily needs. Key Responsibilities:
Operate a 24’ flatbed truck with Moffett to deliver building materials to residential and commercial job sites.
Unload deliveries using the Moffett or by hand, depending on site requirements.
Drive various vehicles (flatbed, box truck, pickup) based on daily delivery needs.
Provide professional and courteous service at delivery sites.
Perform routine vehicle inspections and follow DOT regulations and company safety protocols.
Requirements:
Valid CDL Class B license with clean driving record.
Experience operating Moffett
Ability to lift and move materials when needed.
Strong communication skills and a professional demeanor.
Dependable and able to work independently.
Position Highlights:
