You’ll be responsible for negotiating with vendors to secure optimal pricing, terms, and conditions, while evaluating the total cost of ownership. In addition, you'll support the development of new supply sources to meet evolving business needs. Purchase goods, materials, components, or services aligned with cost, quality, and delivery objectives.
Maintain a continuous supply of required goods and materials, addressing any risks to business operations.
Work with customers, the sales team, and supply chain management to maintain accurate forecasting and proactively adjust to business needs.
Identify cost-saving opportunities and implement strategies to improve operational efficiency.
Negotiate contracts, improve prices and terms, and implement best practices in procurement.
Evaluate and review supplier performance, ensuring compliance and driving improvements.
Research alternative sources for goods and materials.
Resolve pricing, quality, delivery, or invoice discrepancies with suppliers.
Ideal Candidate Profile:
Associate or Bachelor’s degree in a business or engineering-related field (preferred).
Advanced proficiency in Excel and experience with modern ERP systems like SAP, Microsoft 365, Oracle, or NetSuite (preferred).
Strong relationship-building skills with key stakeholders and suppliers.
Excellent negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills.
Analytical mindset with proven problem-solving abilities.
Ability to demand plan in a fast-paced, seasonal business environment.
Results-oriented with exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail.
Demonstrated track record of achieving cost reductions.
