Job Description
Lingo Staffing is now hiring Operator Assistants in Rocky Mount, VA!
Hours:
7pm - 7am or 8pm - 8am, schedule fluctuates between the two schedules.
Pay: $16.25 / hour
The Assistant Operator will be responsible for assisting in the overall operation of machines in the manufacturing facility; including unloading materials, inspecting incoming stock, cleaning the machinery, cutting scrap material, etc. Will be utilizing computers, dollies, forklift, hand tools, safety knives, and pallet jacks.
Job Requirements:
- Mechanically inclined - hand tools and tape measure
- Forklift experience required
- Production - fast-paced
- Ability to multitask
- Heavy lifting - 50 lbs repetitively entire shift
- Basic computer skills
- Must be able to climb, walk, stand the entire shift
- Good vision - close, distance, peripheral, and depth perception
- Safety shoes required
