This role is a unique opportunity to lead high-profile events that strengthen industry relationships, promote brand visibility, and directly drive business growth. You’ll oversee everything from strategic planning to flawless execution, while managing budgets, negotiating sponsorships, and inspiring a talented team. Key ResponsibilitiesStrategic Event Planning & Partnerships
Identify, evaluate, and secure speaking and sponsorship opportunities at industry seminars, tradeshows, and conferences.
Manage exclusivity agreements, renewals, and negotiations to maximize event value.
Build and maintain strong relationships with industry associations, event organizers, and key stakeholders.
Event Execution & Logistics
Oversee all seminar logistics, including booth materials, equipment, technology needs, shipping, travel, and vendor coordination.
Ensure seamless delivery of large-scale events by collaborating with expo companies and internal departments.
Represent the company brand consistently and professionally across all events.
Driving Growth Through Events
Leverage seminars as a platform to generate leads, strengthen customer relationships, and drive revenue.
Partner with sales and marketing teams to align event strategies with overall business goals.
Track and analyze performance metrics to measure ROI and continuously optimize event effectiveness.
Financial & Team Leadership
Own the P&L for the seminar department, leading the annual budget process and monitoring expenses.
Negotiate vendor contracts and implement cost-efficient strategies without compromising quality.
Lead, coach, and develop a high-performing team, setting clear goals and fostering collaboration.
Qualifications for Success
Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, or related field.
10+ years of event management experience, including 5+ years with P&L responsibility.
Proven expertise in strategic event planning, vendor management, and logistics within a manufacturing or industrial environment.
Strong financial acumen with experience building and managing budgets.
Exceptional communication and relationship-building skills.
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment with excellent organizational and problem-solving abilities.
Proficiency in event management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
Customer-focused mindset with a track record of delivering outstanding attendee experiences.
