Lingo Staffing is now hiring Welders in Roanoke, VA. Hours: Fluxcore Welders: Day Shift: Monday - Wednesday, 6am - 4:30pm, Thursday 6am - 3:30pm, Friday 6am - 11am with overtime throughout the week and Sat & Sun as needed.Night Shift: Monday - Thursday 3pm - 3:30am MIG/TIG Welders: Day Shift: Mon-Thurs. 5:45am-415pm. OT on Fridays as needed*overtime and weekend work is mandatory as needed* Pay: Flux Core: $23-$26 / hour depending on shiftMIG/TIG $22-27 DOE Welders are responsible for welding, fitting, and assembling sheet metal. Job Requirements for Fluxcore:• Must be able to fit and weld Fluxcore 1/16th.• Must be able to successfully pass a 3G Weld Test.• Must know AWS weld symbols, shapes, fractions, nearside and farside. • Heavy lifting (50-100 lbs.) repeatedly throughout shift• Basic math skills.• Ability to use hand tools.• Basic computer skills.• Ability to work in a production-based environment. Job Requirements for MIG/TIG Welders: Welder Level I will be responsible for fitting and welding various non-pressurized, structural weldments. Must have the ability to interpret blueprints with the use of weld symbol knowledge and fabrication experience. SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITIES
Welding stainless steel and mild steel fabricated weldments
Capable of Flux Core Arc welding, MIG welding, plasma and torch cutting
Preparation of weld seams prior to welding
Proficient ability to perform tasks with various air and hand tools
Ability to layout parts of fabricated assemblies by interpretation of engineering drawings
Inspects completed weldments to ensure quality and conformance
Properly transact work orders to capture labor and costs
Maintains a clean and safe work environment for self and coworkers
Additional responsibilities as assigned by Supervisor
