The ideal candidate will be responsible for constructing custom-sized crates for shipping materials across the country. This role requires proficiency with power tools, a strong understanding of measurements, and the ability to work efficiently under deadlines.Key Responsibilities:
Crate Construction:
Design and build custom-sized crates according to client specifications and shipping requirements.
Utilize various power tools, including saws, drills, and nail guns, to assemble crates.
Ensure all crates are built to high standards of durability and safety.
Measurement and Planning:
Accurately measure materials and space to ensure precise crate dimensions.
Read and interpret blueprints, diagrams, and work orders to determine appropriate crate dimensions and materials.
Plan and layout work to maximize material usage and minimize waste.
Quality Control:
Inspect finished crates for defects or inconsistencies.
Ensure all crates meet company standards and client specifications.
Make necessary adjustments or repairs to meet quality requirements.
Safety and Maintenance:
Follow all safety protocols and guidelines when operating power tools and handling materials.
Maintain a clean and organized workspace.
Perform routine maintenance on tools and equipment to ensure they are in good working condition.
Collaboration and Communication:
Work closely with team members and supervisors to ensure timely and accurate completion of orders.
Communicate effectively with clients to understand and meet their specific needs.
Provide feedback and suggestions for improving processes and efficiency.

Physical Requirements:
