Welding Supervisor - $23+/hour – Salem, VA  Shift: 1st Shift, hours may vary depending on needs  *May require overtime* Type: Temp to Perm Pay: $23+/hour depending on experience Location: Salem, VA 24153 Industry: Skilled TradeÂ
  Lingo Staffing is hiring experienced Welding Supervisor for a leading manufacturing partner in Salem, VA! Â
  Key Responsibilities: Â
Supervise and coordinate activities of welding team, ensuring compliance with safety initiativesÂ
Utilize ERP tools and other programs and machinery to complete work orders, issue materials, monitor labor variances, etc; utilize problem solving tools to address non-conformities and improve productivityÂ
Lead daily meetings to facilitate communication between welding team and management Â
Check layouts, fit-ups, and perform final inspections of welded components to ensure products meet client and/or customer quality standardsÂ
  Requirements:Â
Strong leadership skills with 2 years of supervisory experience Â
Knowledge of welder and welding safety standards Â
Knowledge of ASME Pressure Vessel rules Â
Proficiency with Microsoft Office tools Â
Ability to interpret welding symbols and technical drawings Â
Ability to interpret and follow an approved inspection and test plan Â
Experience with welding various materials (Carbon steel, stainless steel, nickel alloys)Â Â
Experience with various welding processes (SMAW, FCAW, GMAW, GTAW and SAW)Â Â
Preferred Qualifications: Â
Experience with welding reactive and refractory materials (Titanium, Tantalum, Zirconium, Niobium)Â Â
Proficiency with ERP tools (JD Edwards/Oracle)Â Â Â
Knowledge of AWS standards Â
Knowledge of ASME B31.1, B31.3 codes and Section VIII Division 2 rules Â
Experience with NDE (Dye Penetrant, Ultrasonic, Radiographic)Â
  Screening: Â
