 Lingo Staffing is hiring an experienced Printing Press Operator for a leading manufacturing partner in Roanoke, VA!Â
 Key Responsibilities:Â
Operate and maintain printing and pressure-seal equipment, including multi-color presses and fold-and-seal machines
Set up printing jobs according to production specifications, artwork requirements, and customer orders. Select and load the appropriate paper stock, ink, plates, and coatings for each print job.
Monitor print quality throughout the run, checking for registration accuracy, color consistency, ink density, alignment, and overall appearance.
Perform troubleshooting and adjustments during operation, including ink levels, roller pressure, registration settings, feeder alignment, and drying speed. Conduct routine preventive maintenance such as cleaning, lubricating, plate changes, blanket washes, and replacing worn or damaged parts to maximize uptime.
Collaborate with prepress, imaging, and finishing departments to meet production timelines and maintain workflow efficiency.
 Requirements:
Experience operating and maintaining press machines by monitoring printing process, performing quality checks on equipment and finished products
Strong mechanical aptitude, able to find, diagnose, and correct print quality issues as well as maintaining, changing equipment, and troubleshooting mechanical issuesÂ
Filling and refilling paint in machines to proper specificationsÂ
Ability to work in a fast-paced production environment
Familiarity with pressure-seal forms, variable-data printing, or direct mail production is helpful but not required
Must have color vision
