Job Description

Job Summary: Plans, schedules, coordinates and/or monitors the flow of products through the complete production cycle.
 Provides timely planning and scheduling of manufacturing work orders to the manufacturing floor in order to
 achieve customer delivery dates. To be able to multitask within the policies and expectations of the company when/if necessary. To work with all those involved in your day to day and to always keep a professional attitude and appearance. Take ownership in all duties and policies related to this position.  Essential Functions/Key Responsibilities:  
  • Review open shop orders to determine customer requirements.
  • Coordinate delivery of parts to expedite flow of material to meet production schedule.
  • Work professionally and simultaneously with purchasing on base and material due dates
  • Write up, schedule and review shop orders to the schedule and floor.
  • Maintain an accurate production schedule in Excel.
  • Maintain accurate floor schedule.
  • Make sure shop order jacket colors match schedule.
  • Handle Stock Releases and Shop Order change request.
  • Handle Weights and Dimensions of shippable product to Customer Service/Traffic Coordinator. 
  • Coordinate with Production Supervisors/Production Management for tooling and mounting of product.
  • Validate all jobs and materials each day.
  • Completes status reports, such as production progress, customer information and materials inventory.
  • Prioritize Rolls by Due Dates
  • Ability to work overtime as required by the company.
Qualifications: 
  • Production and Processing – Knowledge of raw materials, production processes, quality control, costs, and
     other techniques for maximizing the effective manufacture and distribution of goods.
  • Proficient at Office 365 (Email, Word, Excel)
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Ability to read write and communicate effectively in English.
  • Proficient use of computer systems and software applications.
  • In‐depth knowledge of ERP or MRP software preferred.
  • Minimum high school diploma or equivalent
