Project Manager/ Estimator Job Description: Lingo Staffing is looking for an experienced Project Manager/ Estimator for a Chesapeake, Virginia based company that specializes in Industrial Marine, MIL-Spec Coatings, and Powder Coating Services. We are seeking a highly skilled individual to fill the role of project manager/ estimator in the industrial coatings division. The successful candidate will be responsible for estimating and managing industrial coatings systems application on Fuel Tanks, Water Towers, Industrial Piping, Bridges, and other structures. The ideal candidate will have experience in working on federal projects and possess at least 5-10 years in the industrial coatings or ship repair business. Salary: $100k -$120k Plus profit sharing bonus! Benefits • 401K • Dental Insurance • Health Insurance • Paid Time Off • Vision Insurance *Background and Drug Screen Required* Requirements • A bachelor’s degree in engineering or building sciences, or comparable experience. • 5-10 years of experience in the industrial coatings industry. • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. • Ability to read and interpret construction plans, specifications, and technical documents. • Thorough understanding of industrial coating’s means, methods, and industry standards. • Proficiency in working in MS Suite and Primavera/ Microsoft Project. • PMP or PMDP Certifications a plus. Additional Requirements • Must be a US Citizen • Lift 50 pounds repetitively • Good driving record • Valid Driver’s License • Consistent access to reliable transportation • Clean Background that would enable military base access A successful Project Manager/ Estimator will: Receive and respond to requests for proposals, bid invites, and other opportunities. Develop and maintain good working relationships with customers, vendors, subcontractors and suppliers. Collaborate with Site Supervision, QA, Safety and Company Leadership to ensure that projects are delivered efficiently and on schedule. Successfully manage project financials and scheduling coordination, with customers, support staff and our admin team. Provide regular progress reports to clients, senior management, and other stakeholders. INDSTO
