Lingo Staffing is hiring Press Operators located in Georgetown, Tx Shift: DaysPay rate: $18.00 Key Responsibilities:
Safe Operation: Perform a variety of physical tasks in Compression Molding, including blending, cold press, hot press, ram, and secondary operations, while adhering to safety protocols.
Documentation: Maintain accurate and timely work documentation, both written and electronic.
Equipment Management: Operate Compression Molding equipment safely, following Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and Job Safety Analyses (JSAs).
Production Goals: Meet production schedules efficiently while ensuring high-quality blends and moldings.
Tooling Preparation: Clean, inspect, mark, and prepare tooling safely and effectively.
Material Handling: Read and interpret run sheets and order packs, securing necessary materials and equipment for each production run.
Inventory Management: Perform cycle counts as required.
Process Improvement: Support efforts to minimize downtime and improve product quality.
Inspection & Finishing: Conduct product inspections, post-production finishing, and ensure proper movement of finished goods.
Continuous Improvement: Participate in initiatives to support Stable Operations and continuous improvement processes.
Communication: Effectively communicate during shift handovers and maintain detailed logs as required.
Customer Focus: Contribute to achieving organizational goals with a customer-centric approach.
Problem Solving: Identify and address issues, actively participating in finding and implementing solutions.
Maintenance: Perform 6S activities and general preventative maintenance to ensure the longevity of equipment and workspace cleanliness.
Other Duties: Carry out additional tasks as needed.
Qualifications
Must speak English and Spanish (Bilingual Required)
Must have High School Diploma or Equivalent (Required at application)
2 years’ work experience in Manufacturing Environment is required
