Job Title: Shipping & Receiving Associate
Pay: $19.00 per hour
Schedule: Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM (mandatory overtime as needed)
Job Type: Full-time
Location: Milford
About the Role
Lingo Staffing is hiring a Shipping & Receiving Associate in Milford, CT. This role is ideal for someone detail-oriented who enjoys hands-on work preparing products for shipment. You'll work in a clean, organized environment packaging and readying products to ship, with a focus on accuracy and care.
What You'll Be Doing
- Package and prepare products for shipment
- Inspect small parts and finished goods for accuracy
- Answer phones occasionally
- Use a computer to assist with shipping paperwork and records
- Organize and verify orders before they go out
- Ensure all shipments are properly prepared and labeled
What We're Looking For
- Strong attention to detail
- Good eyesight for working with small parts
- Comfortable using a computer
- Able to follow instructions and work independently
- Reliable and organized
- Comfortable answering phones when needed
Physical Requirements
- Good eyesight for working with small components
- Strong hand-eye coordination
- Comfortable standing/moving for shift duration
