Lingo Staffing is hiring an experienced MIG & TIG Welder for a leading manufacturing partner in the Roanoke area!

Key Responsibilities:

• Fit and weld non-pressurized structural weldments according to blueprints, weld symbols, and project specifications
• Perform MIG, TIG, and Flux Core Arc welding on stainless steel and mild steel materials
• Operate plasma cutters, torches, grinders, and other fabrication tools for material preparation
• Inspect completed welds and assemblies to ensure quality, structural integrity, and conformance to specifications
• Maintain a safe, clean, and organized work area while meeting production standards

Requirements:

• 1-2 years of hands-on welding experience in a manufacturing or fabrication environment
• Ability to read blueprints and interpret basic weld symbols
• Experience welding stainless steel and mild steel preferred
• Ability to lift, push, pull, or carry up to 50 lbs repeatedly throughout the shift
• Ability to stand and/or walk for the entirety of the shift
• Must be able to pass a hands-on welding test during the client interview process
