Job Description

Lingo Staffing is now hiring Key Account Manager in the Orlando, FL area to start ASAP!

Key Account Manager – Responsible for supporting high-profile client relationships and managing new business opportunities from initial concept through production, shipment, and launch. This role works closely with Sales, R&D, Quality, Purchasing, Supply Chain, Production, Finance, and Logistics to keep projects on schedule and ensure successful execution. The ideal candidate is proactive, highly organized, client-focused, and skilled at managing multiple projects, coordinating cross-functional teams, and maintaining strong customer relationships in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Pay rate & Scheduled:

  • $28.00-$31.00 per hour
  • Monday-Friday, 8:30 AM-5:00 PM

Job Responsibilities & Requirements:

  • Support Business Development and Sales leadership in managing strategic client accounts and new business opportunities.
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in project management, account management, customer service, manufacturing, or a related field preferred.
  • Strong computer skills and ability to learn business, ERP, and project management systems.
  • Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Business, Project Management, Supply Chain, Operations, or a related field preferred.
  • Manage new project briefs from initial concept through development, production, shipment, launch, and first reorder.
  • Build and maintain strong client relationships through proactive communication, problem-solving, and consistent follow-up.
  • Coordinate with R&D, Regulatory, Quality, Purchasing, Supply Chain, Finance, Production, Logistics, and Client Services.
  • Develop and maintain project timelines, tracking key milestones such as costing, samples, formula approvals, packaging, BOM creation, purchase orders, production, and shipment.
  • Monitor project progress and proactively identify delays, risks, missing information, or ownership gaps.
  • Drive internal follow-up to ensure deadlines, decisions, and deliverables are completed on time.
  • Create and maintain accurate system and technical assembly BOMs for new product launches and prepare them for QA review and approval.
  • Book and track launch purchase orders, ensuring pricing, BOMs, production requirements, and project details are entered accurately.
  • Monitor open orders and support on-time, in-full execution.
  • Track launch performance and reorder timing to support client growth and revenue opportunities.
  • Lead or support client project status meetings, including preparing agendas, project updates, meeting recaps, and action items.
  • Support client visits, customer meetings, and strategic business reviews.
  • Use technology and AI tools when appropriate to improve project visibility, communication, organization, and efficiency.
  • Manufacturing industry experience strongly preferred.
  • Strong organizational and project management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong customer service and relationship-building abilities.
  • Comfortable working cross-functionally and holding stakeholders accountable for deliverables.
  • Ability to identify potential problems early, develop solutions, and escalate issues when necessary.
