Title: Print Press Technician

Pay: $16/Hr

Shifts:  Multiple Available

Reports to: Production Manager

Summary
The General Technician supports Gravure press operations by assisting with product handling, press setup, cleanup, quality checks, and material movement. This role works across the press room, roll stand, folder/gluer, and material handling areas as needed to keep production running safely, efficiently, and with high quality.

Key Responsibilities
* Receive finished product from the press, stack it correctly, and place it on pallets.
* Print pallet labels using Pecas and verify job information from the docket and setup sheet.
* Ensure product is loaded correctly for material handling and shipment.
* Inspect finished jobs for quality, accuracy, and completeness.
* Pull product samples according to company procedures and send to Quality Auditors as required.
* Notify the operator immediately of any issues, defects, or errors.

Downtime Duties
* Assist operators when the press is down.
* Web the press and help with setup for the next job.
* Clean press areas, equipment, floors, tables, tanks, cans, and related workspaces.
* Fill solvent cans, tanks, varnish, and auto-viscosity systems as needed.
* Assist with cylinder setup, roll stand work, blade preparation, and sorting tasks.
* Follow all procedures for doctor blade setup, removal, storage, and disposal.

Physical Requirements
* Must be able to lift up to 60 lbs.
* Requires standing, bending, stooping, reaching, kneeling, climbing, and other physical activity.
* Must be able to work rotating shifts and extended hours when needed.
