Job Description
Lingo Staffing is NOW HIRING Press Operators in Lake Mary, FL – Start ASAP!
Press Operators – Responsible for operating computer-controlled punch press machines to produce precision metal parts while maintaining the highest standards of quality, safety, and productivity.
Pay Rate & Scheduled:
- $18.00 per hour and up (Based on Experience)
- 1st Shift- Monday – Friday: 6:00 AM – 2:30 PM
- 2nd Shift – Monday – Friday: 2:30 PM – 1:00 AM
Job Responsibilities & Requirements:
- Operate punch press machines using prewritten machine programs
- Previous manufacturing, machine operation, or metalworking experience required
- Experience operating punch press equipment preferred
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and production paperwork
- Read and interpret blueprints, work orders, and production specifications
- Measure and inspect parts using calipers, micrometers, and height gauges
- Perform quality checks to ensure parts meet specifications
- Identify and report defects or production issues
- Complete production records and documentation accurately
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area following 6S standards
- Follow all company safety procedures and PPE requirements
- Assist with continuous improvement and process enhancement initiatives
- Experience using precision measuring instruments
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
- Dependable, safety-conscious, and team-oriented
- Strong work ethic and willingness to work overtime as needed
