Lingo Staffing is seeking an Apartment Maintenance technician for an apartment complex in Roanoke, VA. 

Job Title: Apartment Maintenance Technician
Hours: Mon-Friday 8-430p with on-call availability every other week.
Pay: Depends on Experience/certification

Job Summary:
We are seeking a reliable and skilled Apartment Maintenance Technician to maintain the appearance, safety, and functionality of our residential community. The Maintenance Technician will perform routine maintenance, respond to resident service requests, and assist with property upkeep to ensure a high-quality living environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Complete work orders for maintenance and repair requests in a timely manner.
• Troubleshoot and repair plumbing, electrical, HVAC, appliance, and carpentry issues.
• Perform preventive maintenance on building systems and equipment.
• Prepare vacant apartments for new residents, including painting, cleaning, and repairs.
• Inspect property grounds, buildings, and common areas to identify maintenance needs.
• Repair and replace fixtures, locks, doors, windows, flooring, and appliances.
• Maintain HVAC systems and change filters as needed.
• Respond to after-hours emergency maintenance calls on a rotating schedule.
• Ensure compliance with safety standards, building codes, and company policies.
• Maintain inventory of maintenance supplies, tools, and equipment.
• Assist with snow removal, landscaping, and general property upkeep as required.

Requirements:

• HVAC certification with boiler experience
• Experience in plumbing, electrical, unit turns, appliance repair, Carpentry, and Drywall repair. 

Safety Considerations:

• May be required to bend, stoop, push, pull, and lift up to 50 lbs. 
• May be working in non-climate controlled conditions
• May be subject to client-specific screenings including background checks and drug screens.
