Warehouse Worker / Material Handler

Location: Cumming, GA
Schedule: Monday-Friday, 8:30 AM-5:00 PM
Pay: Up to $17.00 per hour, depending on experience

Position Overview

GCI is seeking a dependable, hardworking, bilingual (English/Spanish) Warehouse Worker / Material Handler to join its team in Cumming, GA. This position focuses on unloading incoming shipments, sorting and organizing equipment, and entering inventory information into the company's database.

This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys hands-on work, stays organized, and is looking for long-term employment with the potential to transition to the company's direct payroll.

Key Responsibilities

• Safely unload incoming trucks and shipments, averaging 1-2 trucks per day.

• Sort and organize equipment by type, including printers, monitors, computers, and other system hardware.

• Use handheld scanner guns and manual data entry to record inventory in the company's database.

• Maintain an organized and safe warehouse environment.

• Assist with general material handling and other warehouse duties as needed.

• Follow established safety procedures and inventory management practices.

Qualifications & Requirements

• Must be fluent in both English and Spanish.

• Ability to regularly lift, carry, and move equipment weighing up to 60 lbs.

• Ability to stand for the duration of the shift.

• Comfortable working in a warehouse environment without air conditioning.

• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.

• Basic computer skills and the ability to learn inventory tracking systems.

• Reliable transportation and consistent attendance.

• Must successfully pass a background check and drug screening prior to placement.

Compensation & Benefits

• Starting Pay: Up to $17.00 per hour, based on experience and qualifications.

• Temp-to-Hire Opportunity: Work through Lingo Staffing for the first 720 hours (approximately 4.5 months), with the opportunity to transition to GCI's direct payroll.

• Pay Increase Potential: A pay increase may be available upon conversion to direct employment, based on job performance.

• Company Benefits: Eligibility for GCI's internal benefits package upon transition to direct payroll, subject to company eligibility requirements.
