Landscaping / Mowing Laborer

Mon- Fri   8am-5pm
$18 an hour 

Job Summary

We are seeking a dependable and hardworking Landscaping / Mowing Laborer to assist with routine lawn care and landscaping projects. This position involves outdoor work in various weather conditions and requires someone who is comfortable being on their feet and performing physical labor.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

• Operate commercial lawn mowers, weed trimmers, blowers, and other landscaping equipment
• Mow, trim, edge, and maintain lawns and landscaped areas
• Perform weed removal, mulching, planting, and general landscaping tasks
• Assist with planting, pruning, and maintaining trees, shrubs, and flowers
• Load, unload, and transport landscaping materials, tools, and equipment
• Clean and maintain work areas, equipment, and landscaping tools
• Assist with seasonal cleanup, including leaves, branches, and debris
• Follow all safety procedures and use equipment properly
• Work independently and as part of a team to complete jobs efficiently
• Perform other general landscaping duties as assigned

Qualifications

• Previous landscaping, lawn care, or mowing experience preferred but not required
• Ability to safely operate lawn care equipment
• Must be comfortable working outdoors in hot, cold, and changing weather conditions
• Ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs.
• Must be able to stand, walk, bend, kneel, and perform physical labor for extended periods
• Reliable transportation and dependable attendance
• Positive attitude and strong work ethic
• Ability to follow directions and work well with a team
• Valid driver's license is a plus

Work Environment

This is a physically active outdoor position. Employees may work in direct sunlight, heat, humidity, rain, and other weather conditions. Proper work clothing, footwear, and safety equipment are required.
