Job: Warehouse AssociatePay: $16 - $17/hrLocation: Chesterfield, VA Seeking an experienced Warehouse Associate to work at a warehouse located in Chesterfield. As a Warehouse Associate you will be responsible for shipping, receiving and related housekeeping duties. Please be aware that you MUST be able to pass background and drug screening for this position. Primary Responsibilities
Performs all warehouse activities and additional tasks as assigned by the team supervisor and the team manager.
Assists Inventory Specialist with cycle counts, to research and resolve inventory discrepancies, to perform inventory transfers and transactions daily and other tasks as assigned.
Receiving: Unpacks, sorts, counts, verifies, and receives incoming product.
Moves and stores received goods on shelves, racks, or floor locations.
Enters information on received products into the company system.
Operates forklift truck and other material handling equipment.
Shipping: Completes all activities to ship orders from start to finish.
Pulls and verifies orders using RF scanner guns.
Completes bill of lading and schedules pickup for truck shipments and other carriers.
Housekeeping: Maintains a clean, organized, orderly, and safe warehouse and work area.
Monitors and replenishes shipping supplies and packing cardboard in shipping area.
Helps with special projects as requested.
Minimum Qualifications
Must be an independent worker and a collaborator.
Able to lift 50 lbs. unassisted.
Able to enter information into computer and operate handheld barcode scanners.
Must have attention to detail while working safely and meeting customer satisfaction expectations.
Able to work overtime when required.
