FIELD DESIGN TECHNICIAN NEEDED Position Summary:We're looking for a Field Design Technician to join our team in Charleston SC! In this role, you'll be our on-the-ground expert, field measuring jobs, performing post-drawing verifications, QC audits, and some light service work. You’ll also be the key link between our Field and Engineering teams, ensuring our stair projects run smoothly from start to finish. Key Responsibilities:
Conduct site surveys to gather measurements and assess structural considerations.
Layout field measurements and create preliminary drawing specs in CAD.
Verify final drawing measurements and make necessary adjustments.
Meet with customers to detail design options and meet expectations.
Act as a liaison between the field and engineering team.
Adhere to all safety regulations and guidelines.
Perform additional duties as required.

People Skills: Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills.
Problem Solver: Strong problem-solving, critical thinking, and decision-making skills.
Detail-oriented: Keen attention to detail with a strong service mentality.
Tech-Savvy: Willingness to learn 3D scanning technology and CAD software.
Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent; coursework or vocational training in architecture, engineering, or a related field preferred.
4+ years of experience in construction or carpentry.
Clean driving record and ability to travel to various job sites.
Proficiency in CAD software and 3D modeling tools is a plus.
Physical Demands:
Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
Work Environment:
Full-time position with travel required (up to 100%).
