Lingo Staffing is hiring a shipping clerk to start immediately in the Georgetown, Tx area. Pay rate: $17.00/hr Shift: M-F 7a-5:30pm Job Duties: • Facilitate the shipping of products from one destination to another. • Arrange transportation and orchestrate deliveries to meet customer demand with little to no delay. • Receives products and coordinates delivery. • Prepares loads for shipment. • Take steps to avoid quality control issues. • Makes sure warehouse capacity is kept at optimal levels. • Manages activities throughout the order fulfilment and transportation cycle to make sure established deadlines are met. • Oversees inventory of goods and vehicles. • Streamlines shipping and transportation processes. Requirements:High School Diploma or GED. • Experience in manufacturing, customer service or shipping & receiving environment. • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills. • Inventory maintenance experience a plus. • Ability to work well in a fast-paced environment. • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite: Excel, Access, PowerPoint, Word, Office 365. • Knowledge of SAP a plus. • Understanding of transportation (including fleet operations), warehouse operations, and supply chain concepts. • Understanding of Customer’s transportation network. • Cost analysis.
