Job Title: Rubber Roll Builder
Job Description:
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Rubber Roll Builder to join our team. As a Rubber Roll Builder, you will be responsible for preparing rubber rolls through various tasks including rubber extrusion, blasting, and other mechanical processes.
The ideal candidate will possess a strong mechanical aptitude, proficiency in operating machinery such as lathes, cranes, and tow motors, and a keen attention to detail to ensure the highest quality standards are met.
Responsibilities:
• Operate rubber extrusion machinery to produce rubber rolls according to specifications.
• Prepare rolls for rubber application by performing blasting and other necessary tasks.
• Inspect rolls for defects and ensure they meet quality standards.
• Operate lathes to shape and refine rubber rolls as needed.
• Safely operate cranes and tow motors to transport materials and equipment.
• Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient production and timely completion of projects.
• Troubleshoot equipment issues and perform routine maintenance as needed.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area, follow safety protocols.
Requirements:
• Proven experience in rubber extrusion a plus
• Mechanical aptitude with the ability to understand and operate complex machinery.
• Proficiency in using lathes, cranes, and towmotor.
• Strong attention to detail and quality craftsmanship.
• Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to troubleshoot technical issues.
• Physical stamina and ability to lift heavy objects as required.
