Job Description

A well established manufacturing plant located in the East End of Richmond is seeking a permanent full time Industrial Maintenance Technician.  As the Maintenance Technician your primary responsibility will be for controls/ PLC's.  You will perform the full spectrum of mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, electrical and electronic maintenance tasks necessary to repair, maintain, upgrade and optimize the machinery. 
Essential Duties
  • Assist the maintenance manager with overall maintenance such as, corrective, preventative and predictive maintenance programs. This will include parts procurement and storeroom functions.
  • Perform maintenance on PLC (Programmable Logic Controller) machines, CNC routers a nd other machinery as needed.
  • Perform basic maintenance on plumbing, electrical and minor HVAC repairs.
  • Inspect, trouble shoot,  diagnose and repair machines.
  • Perform maintenance on fleet trucks, forklifts and yard machinery.
Schedule
  • Monday - Friday 4pm - 1am with flexibility.  Saturday overtime may be required as needed. 
  • Hourly salary based on experience + $3 night shift differential + $300 Biweekly attendance bonus!
Requirements
  • High school diploma or the equivalent
  • Accredited technical degree and/ or controls automation/ PLC-related certification strongly preferred.
  • Minimum 2 years of mechanical and electrical production equipment maintenance experience.
  • Ability to read Auto CAD, schematics and Allen Bradley strongly preferred.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook)
  • Bilingual Spanish and English is a plus!
