Lingo Staffing is now hiring a Industrial Maintenance Tech in the Orlando, FL area to start ASAP! Industrial Maintenance Tech - Responsible for maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing industrial machinery and mechanical systems within the manufacturing facility. You will ensure that facilities, equipment, and machinery operate reliably and efficiently to support ongoing production needs.
Pay & Schedule:
Pay Rate: $28.00 & Up (Based on Experience)
Schedule: Monday – Friday, 6:00 AM – 5:00 PM
Must be available for overtime and weekends as needed
Job Requirements & Duties:
Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on warehouse equipment, including conveyors, forklifts, pallet jacks, dock doors, balers, and lighting systems.
Must have experience in maintaining compressors and compressed air lines.
Diagnose and repair electrical, mechanical, pneumatic, and hydraulic issues.
Repair and renovate production and cutting machines, including sewing and embroidery machines, with hands-on experience maintaining specialized equipment.
Replace bearings, gears, and other machine parts
Must have Welding, turning, milling and structural experience. (MIG/TIG)
Perform minor non-certified electrical work / Basic understanding of electrical systems.
Must have electrician certification
Provide hands-on support to production teams during breakdowns and installations
Strong property maintenance and carpentry knowledge
Maintain, repair, and troubleshooting HVAC, plumbing, and building systems as needed.
Conduct regular facility inspections to identify and address maintenance issues.
Ensure equipment and systems meet safety and operational standards.
Maintain accurate maintenance logs and reports.
Respond promptly to emergency maintenance requests.
Work closely with warehouse management to minimize downtime and ensure smooth operations.
High school diploma or equivalent (technical or trade school preferred).
2+ years of maintenance experience in a warehouse, manufacturing, or industrial setting.
Strong knowledge of electrical, mechanical, and hydraulic systems.
Experience with conveyor systems and warehouse equipment repairs is highly preferred.
Ability to read technical manuals, schematics, and diagrams.
Basic computer skills for maintenance tracking and reporting.
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work on ladders or in tight spaces.
Flexibility to work overtime, weekends, or on-call shifts as needed.
