Lingo Staffing is now hiring an Industrial Maintenance Tech in the Orlando, FL area to start ASAP! Industrial Maintenance Tech – Responsible for performing routine maintenance and repair work on the equipment and machinery used in a food manufacturing company. The Maintenance Worker must be able to troubleshoot and diagnose problems and perform preventative maintenance tasks to ensure the equipment runs smoothly and efficiently. Pay rate: $22.00 hourly & up. (BASED ON EXPERIENCE)Schedule:
1st Shift: Monday – Friday: 8:00AM – 5:00PM
Must be available on-call every other weekend as needed.
Must be available for overtime & weekends.
Job Requirements & Responsibilities:
Responsible for the upkeep and repair of production machinery.
Inspect production machinery for any signs of malfunction or wear and tear.
Must be bilingual in English and Spanish.
Perform preventive maintenance tasks on machinery and equipment to keep them running smoothly.
Conduct safety checks on all machinery and equipment.
Carry out necessary repairs on faulty machinery or equipment.
Perform general maintenance tasks around the facility, such as repairing fixtures or plumbing.
Identify and resolve maintenance issues and implement corrective actions as needed.
Ensure all paperwork is filled out in a clear, legible, and accurate format and completed with the required information. Ensure all required information is documented in accordance with SOPs.
Regularly inspect the facility and equipment to identify potential maintenance needs.
Assist with inventory management of maintenance supplies and equipment.
Respond to emergency maintenance requests as needed.
Report any food safety and food quality-related issues to management immediately.
Perform other duties as assigned.
Must be able to push, pull, stand, walk, and lift up to 50 pounds.
May have some exposure to dust, fumes, and cleaning chemicals.
2+ years of experience in maintenance work, food manufacturing experience preferred.
Basic understanding of electrical and mechanical systems
Knowledge of machinery, equipment, and tools used in a manufacturing environment is preferred.
Knowledge of hydraulics, pneumatics, and sensors preferred.
Ability to troubleshoot and diagnose problems with machinery and equipment.
Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and schematics.
Flexibility in working hours, including weekends and evenings, when necessary.
