Lingo Staffing is now hiring Event Loaders/Unloader in the Orlando, FL area to start ASAP!
Event Loaders/Unloader - Are responsible for physically moving equipment, supplies, and materials to and from event venues. This includes loading and unloading trucks, using moving equipment, and assisting with setup and takedown of event decor and equipment.
Pay rate:
$16.00 and UP (Based on experience)
Schedule:
1st shift – Monday – Friday- 8:00AM – 5:00PM
Must be able to work weekends & overtime
Job Duties & Requirements:
Candidates must be able to work flexible hours for event setup and event teardown.
Manual Physical work and Heavy lifting
Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and irregular hours.
Prior experience in event setup/load-in/load-out is a plus.
Loading/Unloading trucks with event equipment (tables, chairs, lighting, sound, etc.) and unloading them at the event venue
Using pallet jacks, rolling boards, and other equipment to move heavy items.
Assisting with the assembly of event equipment, such as tables, stages, and décor.
Assist with the dismantling and packing of equipment after the event.
Load and unload equipment, supplies, and material from trucks, ensuring the safe and efficient movement of goods
Operate loading equipment, ensuring compliance with safety regulations and operational procedures
Inspect materials and products for quality and report any discrepancies or damage
Maintain accurate records of materials received and loaded, utilizing inventory management systems
Good organizational and time management skills.
Basic math and reading skills.
Pallet jack or forklift experience
Ability to stand, squat, and bend for extended periods.
